Sinead Allis – Dentist

BDS MSc (Cons) GDC: 81224 , BDS (NUI) MSc

GDC: 81224

After qualifying from University College Cork, Ireland in 2002, Sinead worked in a general dental practice in Essex for seven years. During this time, her postgraduate studies included a Certificate in Endodontics. Following this she completed Dr. Christopher Orr’s ‘Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry ‘ course.

In 2010, at the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCL) London, she completed a full-time Masters Degree in Conservative Dentistry – a qualification focused on restoring and replacing missing teeth in a conservative manner. Since then Sinead has been a visiting lecturer for the ‘Hands On’ courses run at the Eastman Postgraduate Centre for dentists preparing for their ORE examinations. In 2013 she successfully gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of England’s Joint Dental Faculties.

Keeping up to date with new aspects of dentistry is very important to me and, whilst I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry on a daily basis, implant dentistry is where my passion lies.

In her spare time Sinead enjoys running, cycling and swimming, but her real love is the Irish sport camogie – a fun, high energy sport that keeps her in touch with her Irish roots.
